The price is a big point of contention for me. I could see my dad, maybe, buying a $65k Navigator. I cannot see him likely buying an $80k Cadillac. Partly because that's shitload of money, and partly because I'm just not sure if it's worth it. Will let you know.

It doesn't help that these depreciate like a rock.
For $65k you could have a Classic V8 Mustang ($12000), a luxurious Jaguar to commute in ($15000), a reliable truck ($20,000) an awesome classic sports car ($20000). That's a 4-car garage.
AND you'd probably save money on depreciation.
I seriously see no reason to ever spend that much money on an SUV. The new car market is getting silly.

The back two rows fold down with power, and while it is a high lift, it is completely flat. So quite easily would be my guess.
